U.S.-Pakistan Cente  for Advanced Studies in Water (USPCAS-W)
Mehran University of Engineering and Technology (MUET), Jamshoro

MUET with USAID support and in partnership with University of Utah, USA, has established a Center of Excellence in Water for providing higher education and undertaking applied policy research in water-related areas. The Center is seeking applications from highly accomplished professionals to fill several faculty positions of Professor, Associate Professor, and Assistant Professor levels. Strong potential for excellence in research and teaching is essential. Individuals with expertise in the following areas are encouraged to apply: Hydraulics, Hydrology, Irrigation and Drainage, Environmental Engineering,Integrated Water Resources Management, Public Health, Water and Sanitation and Health Sciences, Microbiology/ Biotechnology, Analytical Chemistry (must have at least five-year experience in operation and maintenance of analytical equipment i.e. ICP-MS, GC-MS, LC-MS, Ion Chromatograph, TOC analyzer, real-time PCR and FTIR etc.) and other areas relevant to integrated, equitable and sustainable management of water resources.

Ph.D. from National or International University recognized by HEC in any of the above subjects with minimum fifteen (15) years teaching and research experience, and fifteen (15) publications in journals of national and international repute. At least 5publications must be published in last five years.

Applications must include a full curriculum vitae, a vision for establishing nationally prominent research and teaching program in above-said fields that includes a statement of research plans and a statement of teaching experience and philosophy that highlights a commitment to teaching excellence (not more than 500 words).
